one seventy

Plan the session. Get the shot.

A session manager for photographers. It measures how much of your shoot actually falls in golden light, tells you when to leave, and tracks every planned frame until you have it.

5Planned frames, each tracked to captured or cut

Three things, done properly.

One Seventy isn't your CRM, your gallery, or your accountant. It runs the session — from the plan to the last frame.

The light window, measured

Every session is scored against golden hour and sunset at that exact location. Only 8 of 60 minutes sit in golden light is the kind of thing you want to know a week out, not at 7:21 PM.

Suggestions you can act on

Shift the session twenty minutes later into the golden hour. Leave by 6:28 to keep your arrival buffer. Each one arrives with its confidence and a single button that does it.

Event Day, live

Go live and the shot list moves to your wrist — golden hour counting down, frames ticked off as you shoot. Gear, tasks, and place notes are already packed in.

Event Day collaboration

One plan. Everyone on it.

Bring a second shooter or assistant into the live session. The whole crew sees the same running order, timing, and notes — and every update lands for everyone.

  • A shared shot listCapture a frame and the whole crew sees it move off the list.
  • Clear ownershipAssign frames before call time, then hand them off while the light is moving.
  • The same clockEveryone works from one golden-hour countdown, set of notes, and next frame.

Plan on the desk. Run it on your wrist.

One session, four screens. What you build on the Mac is in your pocket at 6:15 and on your wrist when the light turns.

  • macOS

Build the session, read the light window, and clear the task list before the week starts.

  • iPad

The same session opened on location, with weather and the golden-light summary side by side.

  • iPhone

Next session, gear count, and everything that still needs attention today.

  • Apple Watch

Golden hour counting down and frames ticked off without reaching for a phone.

* Because an app was necessary.

Photographers plan sessions in notes apps, spreadsheets, texts, and memory. Then the light is perfect for eleven minutes and the plan is in four places. I built One Seventy to simplify session planning.
